After earning a contract on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, Tracy Cortez will be making her UFC debut in the bantamweight division in Sao Paulo on Nov. 16.
Normally a flyweight, Tracy Cortez (6-1) is stepping up to replace Leah Letson versus Duda Santana (3-1) at UFC on ESPN+ 22.
Cortez earned her place in the UFC after a dominant win on DWTNCS over Mariya Agapova. After going 6-0 as an amateur, Cortez made her pro debut in 2017. She lost her debut at Invicta FC 25 but has not tasted defeat since.
“Cowboyzinha” suffered the first loss of her pro career in June when she made her UFC debut versus Bea Malecki in the bantamweight division.
