Report: LFA flyweight champ Sabina Mazo signs with UFC

Per Ariel Hewlani for ESPN, sources say that LFA flyweight champion and undefeated prospect Sabina Mazo (6-0) has signed with the UFC.

The rising Colombian star garnered media attention when she scored back-to-back, highlight reel head kick knockouts over Jamie Thorton and Linsey Williams.

Her resume includes a notable win over former Bellator title challenger Alejandra Lara via unanimous decision.

Mazo last defended her LFA belt in November with a dominant performance over Caroline Yariwake Da Cruz.

No Octagon debut has been set, however, she is targeting a March or April debut.

Are you excited to see Mazo in the UFC? Who would you like to see her debut against?

  1. Good, she’ll get more than 207,000 viewers that Bellator 211 had to see her fights. Coker Vision? More like Coker big over promise. and under deliver. Good addition to the UFC Women’s Flyweight division.
