Priscila Cachoeira: “I want to break records and become the fighter with the most bonuses in UFC history”

Priscila Cachoeira makes her UFC debut at this Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 125 event when she takes on a woman who many are tipping to be the next flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko.

Undefeated Cachoeira is looking to pull of the upset at UFC Fight Night 125.

Cachoeira (8-0) has been making quite the name for herself on the independent scene having picked up four knockout victories, as well as earning herself four decision wins. The “Pedrita” believes she has what it takes to earn the most bonuses in UFC history.

Every time I fight is a war, the best fight of the night,” Cachoeira told MMA Fighting. “I want to break records and become the fighter with the most bonuses in the UFC. Not for the money — it’s important, of course — but I love putting on a show to entertain the crowd.”

The Brazilian is the heavy underdog leading into Saturday’s fight in her home country, however she is not phazed by this and is confident in her ability to pull of the upset and eventually win the UFC flyweight title.

I always say that two or three good wins, putting on a show for the fans, it’s possible that I get the belt,” Cachoeira said. “Your hard work and determination makes dreams possible, and it might come faster than you imagine.”
