Poster unveiled for historical ‘BKFC 1: The Beginning’ event on June 2, features Bec Rawlings vs. Alma Garcia

Former UFC star Bec Rawlings makes history on June 2 when she makes her bare knuckle boxing debut to take on Alma Garcia at the ‘BKFC 1: The Beginning’ event.

The historical pay-per-view event will mark the first legal, regulated, and sanctioned bare knuckle boxing event in the United States since the year 1889. Held under the control of the Wyoming Combative Sports Commission, headed by Chairman Bryan Pedersen, the 12 bout card will feature only established professional fighters, who have competed in boxing, MMA, kickboxing, and Muay Thai. The organization expects to hold a total of three events this year, with nine planned for 2019.

‘Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 1: The Beginning’ takes place on June 2 from the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States. The event will be aired live on pay-per-view from 8pm EST.

BKFC released two posters for the event, the women’s fight is featured on both of them but more prominent in one. Take a look at the posters below:

  1. Thanks for the heads up on this. I love the idea of reviving bare knuckle. If my local sports bars are not carrying, I may order the PPV at home.
