Newly crowned UFC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino paused her Brazil media tour to visit children at a hospital in her hometown of Curitiba, Brazil.
The champ released an official statement through the UFC. “These kids are much more than champions– they fight every day for their lives,” she said. “And a small gesture like this one makes a huge difference in their lives. I always talk about this, about the importance of fighting for those who can’t fight. It’s so good to make someone happy because it makes us happy, as well. It was very gratifying to come here today,” she concluded.
