PFL 6 weigh-in results: Lightweight fight between Kayla Harrison and Jozette Cotton is made official

Professional Fighters League 6 takes place this Thursday August 16 from the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States.

The main card features a highly anticipated and pivotal women’s lightweight fight between number-one ranked Jozette ‘The #1 Headbusta’ Cotton (8-1) and Olympic Gold Medallist, Kayla Harrison (1-0).

  1. should be good. i won’t be able to watch it. hopefully it’s a war! though i put my money on the olympian. Wrestlers tend to win in MMA because they started earlier, whereas strikers often started late in life.

    1. I agree. Jozette’s looping strikes are a lot easier to defend against than an elite judoka’s grappling. Whoever wins, though, I hope to see Bobbi Jo Dalzie take on the winner. I’m really surprised that she didn’t try out for the FW TUF series. She’s indicated she’s willing to drop to 145 to get into the UFC, but I guess the UFC is looking for fighters that can drop to 135.
