A tantalizing flyweight bout has been made official for UFC’s first ESPN event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Jan. 19.
The UFC announced on Twitter today that “12 Gauge” Paige VanZant (7-4) will make her long-awaited Octagon return to take on TUF 26 alum Rachel Ostovich-Berdon (4-4).

The bout was rumored to be made months ago, however, VanZant reported the claims as “fake news” as she was not yet cleared to fight. She was last seen in action in January, dropping a decision to Jessica-Rose Clark in her flyweight debut and breaking her arm (via spinning back fist) in the process.
Ostovich last fought in July– losing via third-round submission to Montana De La Rosa in her sophomore UFC appearance.
Who will you be rooting for?
