Paige VanZant undergoes successful surgery for broken arm “I’ll be back in the cage cracking heads with by bionic arm soon”

UFC flyweight Paige VanZant recently underwent successful surgery for a broken arm.

VanZant (7-4-0) suffered the injury after landing a spinning backfist on Jessica-Rose Clark at the UFC Fight Night 124 event earlier this month. The 23-year-old ultimately went on to lose the fight via unanimous decision.

This past weekend, “12 Gauge” took to her Instagram page to reveal that her surgery was a success. Take a look below.

  1. Impressive that she fought 2 rounds with a broken arm. Makes one wonder what the results would have been if it wasn’t broken.

  2. She’s proved again she is a tough fighter, but she needs to become a smart fighter by joining Antonio McKee’s BodyShop Gym. At least there she would actually be given a fight plan for different contingencies once she is in the octagon because different things happen in fights. Also at Antonio McKee’s BodyShop Gym she would be coached up and be surrounded by other fighters who are young and gaining experience like her in A.J. McKee, Joey Davis, Kevin Baby Slice Ferguson Jr., and Aaron Pico. And she will be truly part of the team sitting cage side with the crew and being able to help them out. And she would be able to focus on getting better at MMA instead of worrying about having a boyfriend at the gym, who just becomes a distraction to her goal. Good luck to her.
