Paige VanZant has revealed that Reebok will not be renewing the individual sponsorship deal they had with her.
Back in December 2014, the UFC made Reebok their official apparel sponsor. Reebok then begun signing specific fighters to an additional deal which involved customized items. VanZant was one of these athletes, however it appears the deal has now come to an end.
“As my contract has come to an end I regret to share that Reebok has decided not to resign me with their company. I am so blessed to have been partnered with such an amazing team for so long, I know the future is bright for me and will bring new opportunities. Thanks 🙂 PVZ” VanZant announced on her social media pages.
The 24-year-old is scheduled to return to the cage at the UFC on ESPN+ 1 event on January 19 when she takes on Rachael Ostovich. She was fought in January 2018, losing a unanimous decision to Jessica-Rose Clark.
UFC on ESPN+ 1 takes place on January 19 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, United States. The main card featuring VanZant vs. Ostovich will be aired live on ESPN+ from 10pm EST.
