Paige VanZant ready for UFC return after arm cast removal

Paige VanZant is gearing up for her long-awaited return.

VanZant posted the following update on Instagram.

CAST IS OFF 100%!!!! LET’S FREAKING GO!!!! Training is in full effect (in my garage with my husband) lol First thing first, let’s heal the world, after that I’m coming to fight. 👊🏻

For the better part of two years, arm injuries have plagued VanZant– limiting her to just one fight in 2018 and one in 2019.

In her last Octagon appearance in January 2019, “12 Gauge” returned to the win column by defeating Rachael Ostovich via submission. She was scheduled to return to action in the strawweight division against Amanda Ribas at UFC Brasilia on March 14, however, a third arm fracture caused her to withdraw.

After a 4-2 run in the strawweight division, PVZ moved up to 125 pounds, where she has competed twice. While PVZ was scheduled to return as a strawweight, she has expressed an openness to fighting in either division.

Notably, Paige’s next fight will be the last fight on her UFC contract.

Who would you like to see Paige return against?
