Taiwan’s Jenny Huang has emerged victorious today at ONE Championship 50. She defeated April Osenio with a very impressive Gogoplata choke in round 2. Huang’s record improves to 5-0-0. The bout was contested at 115 pounds, however Huang has previously fought at 105lbs.
Huang wants a title shot, she told us “I really just want the honour of fighting for a championship belt. It would be a great honour for me to just enter the arena with a fellow champion fighter. If I get the chance to win this belt, then I want to hold onto that title for a long time. I want to really inspire other Taiwanese women to be like me and show the world how strong women can be.”
Earlier this week Huang spoke to us openly about a number of topics including more about her dreams to be champion, why she started fighting, Invicta FC’s Ayaka Hamasaki, pressure of being undefeated and lots more. CLICK HERE to view the interview.
