An exciting bantamweight bout between top fifteen ranked contenders Marion Reneau (9-4-1) and Yana Kunitskaya (11-4) has been made official for UFC 233 in January.
Reneau will return to action after losing a decision to Cat Zingano in July. Prior to that, it looked like the “Belizian Bruiser” was closing in on title contention with a four-fight win streak that included wins over Sara McMann, Talita Bernardo, and Milana Dudieva.
The former Invicta FC bantamweight champion, Kunitskaya, won her bantamweight debut with a decision victory over Lina Lansberg at UFC 229 in October. That win followed her UFC debut– a failed attempt to capture the featherweight title from Cris Cyborg earlier this year.
Who will you be rooting for?
