Liz Carmouche welcomes Lucie Pudilova to flyweight

An exciting flyweight matchup between Liz Carmouche (12-6) and Lucie Pudilova (8-3) has been announced for UFC in Prague on Feb. 23.

After going 2-2 as a bantamweight, Pudilova is headed to the 125-pound division. She began her career as a flyweight and is confident she can make the weight easily. Pudilova has made a name for herself in the Octagon as an aggressive and exciting brawler, picking up a $50,000 FOTN bonus in her last outing versus Irene Aldana.

Carmouche is a former bantamweight title challenger and UFC veteran. She was one half of the first women’s bout in the UFC opposite Ronda Rousey in 2013. Since moving to flyweight, Carmouche is 1-1 with a split-decision loss to Alexis Davis and a unanimous decision win get Jennifer Maia.
