A former Invicta FC strawweight champion is set to make her UFC debut in November.
Former Invicta champ Livinha Souza (14-2) will welcome another former Invicta champ Kanako Murata (11-1) to the Octagon on a Nov. 14 UFC Fight Night event. The bout was first reported by Raphael Marinho of Combate.
Souza competed last Saturday at UFC 252, defeating Ashley Yoder by unanimous decision. She is 3-1 in the Octagon since signing with the promotion in 2018.
Murata captured the Invicta strawweight title in 2019, defeating Emily Ducote by split-decision. Murata enters the UFC on a seven-fight win streak, having competed in RIZIN, Pancrase and Invicta.
