20-year-old lightweight contender Reina Miura has entered the top five of the Women’s MMA World Rankings as part of the 155-pound lightweight division.
Miura (2-0-0) climbs up the lightweight rankings to number four, following a dominant unanimous decision victory over UFC veteran and teammate of Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler.
The “King” has been heavily hyped in Asia as a woman set to breakout as MMA’s next superstar. She believes she will be the reason the MMA world pay attention to the lightweight division, a division she feels most comfortable at, following unsuccessful attempts to make the featherweight limit as an amateur.
Meanwhile, Baszler (15-11-0) enters the 155lb lightweight rankings at number five.
