A women’s lightweight fight between Bobbi-Jo Dalziel and Brittney Elkin has been added to the No Mercy 65 event on January 19.
Dalziel (3-0) makes her highly anticipated return to the cage after over two years away from professional MMA competition. The 32-year-old made a huge statement in her last showing in October 2016, dominating Jozette Cotton for the unanimous decision win, in the process handing Cotton her first loss. Dalziel, who many once considered to be the best lightweight fighter in the world, now looks to insert her name back into the rankings and show the world why she is the woman to beat at 155-pounds.
Elkin (3-5) looks to rebound from a first-round submission loss to Olympic Judo Gold Medallist, Kayla Harrison, at the PFL 2 event last June. The 32-year-old, currently ranked number-six in the WMMA Lightweight World Rankings, owns a notable 2015 victory over Bellator veteran, Gabrielle Holloway, as well as a first-round knockout over Kola Shippentower.
No Mercy 65 takes place on January 19 at 6pm EST from the Colorado Springs City Auditorium in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Live streaming details are expected to be announced nearer to the time.
