On Friday at LFA 37, Colombian flyweight prospect Sabina Mazo (5-0) claimed the vacant LFA flyweight championship with a dominant win over Shannon Sinn (5-6).
Sinn proved to be a tough customer– taking Mazo all five championship rounds. Sinn landed a few solid right hands but it was all Mazo who cruised to a dominant decision win with a versatile striking attack.
The LFA flyweight belt was previously held by Andrea “KGB” Lee. Lee vacated the strap when she signed with the UFC last year, despite not yet making her debut.
