King Reina set to make featherweight debut at DEEP JEWELS 20 on June 9

King Reina will make her featherweight debut at the DEEP JEWELS 20 event on June 9 when she takes on Choi Eun Ji.

Reina makes her first featherweight appearance in June.

Reina (8-1) makes her first appearance as a  145-pound competitor following a successful run at lightweight and above in which she has taken out the likes of Jazzy Gabert, Lei’D Tapa, Shayna Baszler and Crystal Stokes. The 21-year-old’s sole career loss is a split decision to Cindy Dandois last December.

Eun Ji (0-0) will be making her professional debut following a successful kickboxing career.

DEEP JEWELS 20 takes place on June 9 from the Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan.

  1. Dang. Deep Jewels is really throwing Choi Eun Ji into a ring of fire for her debut. I personally question Reina’s sole loss to Dandois, but despite her youth, she’s definitely one of the most experienced and top fighters in the 155+ weight divisions. I have only seen 2 of Eun Ji’s kickboxing fights, and although she is tough, they were both losses. Does anyone know what her pro kickboxing record is?

  2. Hahaha, more of King Reina being matched up with a fighter with one or less pro fights. So exactly how is these kinds of matchups helping King Reina get better?
