Two-time Olympic gold medalist and 2-0 lightweight fighter Kayla Harrison is set to return to the cage later this year.
Harrison will be fighting in MMA for the third time on December 31st. An accomplished judoka, Harrison has gone 2-0 in the PFL 155-pound division with a first-round submission win over Brittney Elkin in her debut match in June and a third-round TKO victory over Jozette Cotton just two months later.
Kayla is setting her sights high. Training out of American Top Team in Florida, Harrison is set to take part in a $1 million lightweight tournament in 2019. She has also expressed her desire to face current UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg in the future.
PFL 11 takes place at the Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 31st.
