This Friday’s ‘Bellator 200: London’ event features an exciting women’s flyweight on its preliminary card when England’s own Kate Jackson battles a returning Anastasia Yankova.
Jackson (9-3-1) looks to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Valerie Letourneau at the Bellator 191 event last December. Prior to the loss, she was on a two-fight winning streak, victories over Bryony Terrell and Colleen Schneider. The 31-year-old was previously a contestant on UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter 23, being coached by Claudia Gadelha and making it to the semi-finals after picking up wins over Irene Cabello and Ashley Yoder.
Yankova (5-0) returns to competition for the first time in over a year after she controversially missed weight for a third consecutive time for the Bellator 176 event in April 2017. The 27-year-old has been working hard on her MMA game during her hiatus and has brought in some of the best in the world for sparring practice including former UFC champ Cody Garbrandt.
‘Bellator 200: London’ takes place this Friday May 25 from the SSE Arena in London, England, United Kingdom. The preliminary card featuring Yankova vs. Jackson will be aired on tape delay from 7pm EST via Bellator Live (Click HERE).
