Julija Stoliarenko replaces Ketlen Vieira, faces Yana Kunitskaya on Aug. 8

Julija Stoliarenko is headed back to the UFC.

Stoliarenko (9-3-1) is replacing Ketlen Vieira on one weeks notice to face Yana Kunitskaya (12-5-1) on Aug. 8.

Vieira and Kunitskaya were originally scheduled to meet on Aug. 1, however, the bout was pushed back one week. The reason for Viera’s withdrawal is currently undisclosed.

Kunitskaya had a two-fight win streak snapped by Aspen Ladd in December. The former Invicta bantamweight champ is 2-2 in the UFC since signing in 2018.

Stoliarenko competed on TUF 28 but lost to Pannie Kianzad in the TUF house. She made her UFC debut in 2018 but left the promotion after losing a split-decision to Leah Letson. After that, Stoliarenko put together a five-fight win streak that saw her capture the Invicta bantamweight championship in a bloody ‘Fight of the Year’ contender.
