Jozette Cotton and Leah Letson set to fight for inaugural DCS featherweight title on March 9

A women’s featherweight title fight between Jozette Cotton and Leah Letson has been added to the ‘DCS: St Paddy Showdown’ event on March 9.

Cotton (8-1-0) will attempt to make featherweight once again, after weighing in at 150-pounds during her last attempt back in December. The 29-year-old is the reigning DCS lightweight champion, having defeated Sarah Patterson to earn the belt this past September. She is keen to make the full time move to 145-pounds in a bid to eventually challenge UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg.

Letson (4-1-0) looks to build on a four fight win streak, which includes three knockouts. The 25-year-old also competes for Invicta FC and made her promotional debut for the organization last year, knocking out former UFC veteran Elizabeth Phillips in the very first round.
