Jozette “The #1 Headbusta” Cotton will be making her featherweight debut at the Dynasty Combat Sports event on December 9, her opponent has not yet been announced.
Cotton (7-1-0) made history earlier this month, defeating Sarah Patterson by way of a unanimous decision to become the first ever women’s lightweight champion in the history of MMA. The 29-year-old has been dominating the scene at 155-pounds, bar her decision loss to the number-one lightweight in the world, Bobbi-Jo Dalziel.
‘The #1 Headbusta’ is now ready to cut the additional weight and compete in the more competitive women’s featherweight division in the hopes of eventually becoming a world champion for the UFC or Bellator MMA.
Cotton’s featherweight debut will take place at the Dynasty Combat Sports event on December 9 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event will air live on FloCombat.
