Joe Rogan criticizes the UFC for promoting Ronda Rousey but not Amanda Nunes

UFC commentator Joe Rogan is not happy about how the UFC is promoting its upcoming UFC 207 pay-per-view.

UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes will defend her title for the first time against former champion Ronda Rousey in the main event. The majority of the UFC 207 promotion has only featured Rousey.

Speaking on social media, Rogans hits out at the decision to focus the promotion on Rousey with very little spotlight being on the champion, Amanda Nunes “I find it extremely bizarre that all these UFC 207 promos only focus on Ronda and very little about the champion Amanda Nunes” he continues “[why] wouldn’t they focus on the epic match up and build up Amanda as well?“.

Rousey is one of the biggest stars in MMA history. She is a former Strikeforce and UFC champion. She has notable wins over Miesha Tate, Sarah Kaufman, Liz Carmouche, Sara McMann, Alexis Davis, Cat Zingano, and Bethe Correia.

Rousey has not fought since losing her title back in November 2015 after being brutally knocked out by Holly Holm.

Nunes won the title in the main event of UFC 200 in July when she submitted Miesha Tate in the first round. She is currently on a four-fight win streak, which includes wins over Shayna Bazler, Sara McMann, and Valentina Shevchenko.

UFC 207 will take place December 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
