Joanna Jedrzejczyk reacts to Sijara Eubanks headlining UFC 230 against Shevchenko for vacant flyweight belt: “Who the f*** ?”

This past Tuesday it was announced that Valentina Shevchenko will headline the UFC 230 event to battle Sijara Eubanks for the vacant flyweight title on November 3, this in favor of a previously booked bout between Shevchenko and Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the belt at UFC 231 on December 8.

Can Joanna become UFC champion again?

Jedrzejczyk (15-2) has spoke about her struggles to make 115-pounds on multiple occasions, in particular after she lost the strawweight title to Rose Namajunas in November 2017. The 31-year-old’s inevitable title shot at 125-pounds will no doubt showcase the former champ at her best.

The 31-year-old reacted to the news on her social media pages. Take a look at Jedrzejczyk’s reaction to the news below:

  1. speaking for most of the fan base here. I see manyconfused people thinking the UFC is some charity organization. it’s a paid product, and for them to put a stinker of a draw like this as headliner is sad.

    1. Dana White shows respect to the ladies of TUF. They deserve to establish the weight class and not be co-opted by two outsiders within the first year. I don’t think Valentina should even get to fight at the top right away.

        1. lmao. TUF was a joke and waste of time. none of them will be in the top 5 come February and very few will still be on the UFC roster in 15 months. Eubanks missed weight for her shot, and she will probably miss again because she has to be on weight in 4 weeks. Ali getting another client to take an over matched fight for peanuts to gain favor with the UFC. 😂
