Jessica Aguilar blasts “horrible” NY Commission for “heartbreaking” decision to remove her fight from UFC Utica event

Jessica Aguilar is furious with the New York State Athletic Commission for pulling her scheduled fight against Jodie Esquibel from tonight’s UFC Fight Night 131 event in Utica.

Aguilar is furious with the NY commission.

The New York State Athletic Comission pulled the fight just hours before showtime due to a concern over a medical issue with Aguilar.

When asked why the fight was pulled, Aguilar (19-6) told MMA Fighting that the reason was “chapped lips“. She went on to brand the NY commission as “horrible” for their decision.

NY commission is horrible and don’t understand everything we go through to make it here,” Aguilar said. “It’s absolutely crazy and heartbreaking.”
