Jazzy Gabert slams Gabi Garcia: “She is a joke and a disgrace to the beautiful sport of MMA”

Jazzy Gabert has hit out at fellow heavyweight contender Gabi Garcia in a series of social media posts.

Gabert brands Garcia as a “joke” and a “disgrace” to the sport of MMA.

Garcia (4-0, 1 NC) will be facing 53-year-old Shinobu Kandori at the upcoming RIZIN Fighting Federation event on December 29. The announcement has received heavy criticism from fans on social media who believe the fight is a complete mismatch. Garcia recently responded by revealing she does not choose her opponents and is under a strict contract in which she must accept what is given to her. She says she wants “hard fights” in future and named four heavyweight fighters who she hopes to fight in 2018.

Gabert (1-1) does not believe Garcia’s claims and feels as though she is simply looking for sympathy. She refers to the Brazilian as a “pathetic person” and says she is a “joke” and a “disgrace” to the sport of MMA.

Now she is looking for sympathy! Wasn’t she perfectly fine with the easy money fight? And as I remember a recent interview of GG, she said she wanna try wwe, but continues mocking me and my sport… Gabi is a JOKE! She wouldn’t last a minute in the wrestling ring.” Gabert said.

My wish for 2018 is to stop this nonsense and not hear any word of this pathetic person anymore! Disgrace to the beautiful sport of MMA!” she continued.

Fight fans, what are your opinions on the whole situation? Do you agree with Gabert? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

  1. Jazzy Gabert needs to come to grips that Rizin FF decision makers are not going to stop with these CLOWN SHOW type debacles. Apparently, it’s must something that the Japanese market enjoys because their customers are filling their arenas and buying their pay per views. If Gabi Garcia has a iron clad contract that doesn’t allow her to turn down opponents, well, I can only imagine that Gabi Garcia signed that contract because she was just happy to fight and did not even think about the particulars. Jazzy Gabert, in the meantime, needs to get some actual fight time under her belt to gain some more MMA experience and get a win. Learn how to grapple and to not over commit on the sloppy way she throws punches.
