Irish atomweight standout Catherine Costigan makes her return on March 4th, live on UFC Fight Pass

Irish atomweight standout Catherine Costigan is set to make her return to MMA competition on March 4th at Cage Warriors 81 from the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland. No opponent has been announced as of yet. The event will be aired live on UFC Fight Pass.

Catherine Costigan is back, and she has her sights set on atomweight domination.

Costigan (5-2-0) is currently the number thirteen ranked 105lb atomweight competitor in the world according to the Women’s MMA World Rankings by WMMA Rankings. She’s a known finisher who’s finished four of her five career victories with a combination of Armbars and Chokes. She suffered a setback in her last two fights losing to Celine Haga who’s a big 115lb strawweight competitor, as well as a loss to Amber Brown who has since moved to strawweight.

At atomweight, “The Alpha Female” is without a doubt one of the best in the world and has constantly been showing development in her MMA game. She’s been gone since September 2015 due to injuries and such, but now she’s back with a vengeance and ready to become the Irish star of the atomweight division much like Conor McGregor has been with the featherweights and lightweights.

Catherine “The Alpha Female” Costigan makes her hugely anticipated return to the cage on March 4th at Cage Warriors 81. The event takes place from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland and will be aired live on UFC Fight Pass.
