Invicta FC’s Pam Sorenson: “If Anderson is unavailable, I’d definitely be down to share the cage with Cris Cyborg”

Invicta FC featherweight standout, Pam Sorenson, has revealed that she is more than willing to challenge Cris Cyborg for the UFC 145-pound title, if Megan Anderson is unavailable.

Sorenson believes she has what it takes to capture the UFC featherweight title from Cris Cyborg.

Sorenson (7-2) made the revelation on her social media pages, in response to an article about Cyborg’s frustration with the UFC not creating world rankings for the 145-pound weight-class.

If Anderson is unavailable, I’d definitely be down to share the cage with Cris Cyborg” Sorenson stated.

The 31-year-old is by far one of the most exciting rising prospects in the 145-pound division. She owns notable wins over Nicco Montano, Moriel Charneski and Jessica-Rose Clark. However, one of her most impressive wins came last July when she submitted the previously undefeated Helena Kolesnyk in just 3 minutes and 12 seconds of the very first-round.

Sorenson is gritty and tough, she has a no quit attitude and is always looking for the finish, making her fights amongst the most anticipated on the cards. Her few career losses come by way of controversial split decisions, with the bouts themselves very exciting wars.

  1. Now that’s what fighters do, they fight and look to challenge themselves. If only the UFC was actually interested in building a Women’s Featherweight division
