Invicta FC standouts Kelly D’Angelo and Ashley Cummins are set to make their pro-wrestling debuts at “Dynamo Pro Wrestling: MMA VS Wrestling” on November 11.
The Dynamo Pro Wrestling organization has partnered with the Fighting for Autism charity to produce a special fundraiser event featuring several of MMA’s biggest stars making their professional wrestling debuts. D’Angelo and Cummins are the only women featured on the card and will team up as a tag team to take on a pair of pro-wrestling veterans, the names of which have yet to be announced.
D’Angelo (2-1-0) is one of the most exciting strawweight prospects in the world. She made her Invicta FC debut this past July, losing a very close unanimous decision to undefeated Sunna Davíðsdóttir. Prior to the loss she was undefeated with a 2-0 record as a pro and a 5-0 amateur record, including six stoppages.
Cummins (5-4-0) is the number-eight ranked atomweight fighter in the world, according to the WMMA world rankings. The 30-year-old made her 105-pound debut this past March, dominating a former title challenger in Amber Brown to a unanimous decision. She followed up in July, putting on an exciting battle against number-two ranked atomweight, Jinh Yu Frey.
