Invicta FC will return for its twenty-fifth event this Thursday, delivering what is one of its best cards yet, showcasing some of the hottest prospects in the world.
The event will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight between Yana Kunitskaya (9-3) and Raquel Pa’aluhi (6-5). Long-reigning champion Tonya Evinger vacated the belt earlier this year after signing with the UFC, opening the door for Kunitskaya and Pa’aluhi to fight for the vacant belt.
The co-main event will see an all-brazilian showdown when Livia Souza (10-1) takes on Janaisa Morandin (9-0). Souza is considered the organization’s top strawweight, whilst Morandin is a top-ten ranked atomweight fighter who now makes the move up to 115-pounds.
Invicta FC 25 takes place this Thursday August 31 from the Tachi Palace in Lemoore, California. The event will be aired live on UFC Fight Pass from 8pm ET.
