UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas is well into her training camp in preparation for her rematch against Joanna Jedrzejczyk, to be held in Brooklyn, New York on April 7. Amid the grind, she’s squeezing a bit of rest and recovery into her schedule.
It turns out that Healing Waters Float Studio is one of her go-to places for rejuvenation. In fact, she’s so pleased with the Colorado-based facility that if she sees you there she may just pay for your float session.
Namajunas wrote on her Instagram, “The new location for Healing Waters Float Studio is awesome if you bump into me while I’m there the next one is on me! The benefits I feel from it are amazing check it out!”
Floatation therapy is growing in popularity. The isolation chambers are filled with warm water and Epsom salts, which prevent sensory distraction and facilitate deep relaxation. Spending time in them increases energy and overall physical performance, along with focus, memory, and concentration – all things a world champion needs to rise victorious from her next big challenge.
Do you think Rose wins the rematch?
