Ilima-Lei Macfarlane vs Valerie Letourneau title fight to headline Bellator’s Hawaii debut

Bellator will be making its debut in Hawaii on Dec. 15 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu and the event will be headlined by an exciting women’s flyweight title fight.

Hawaii’s own Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (8-0) will defend her flyweight strap versus top contender Valerie Letourneau (10-6).

The unbeaten champion is coming off a successful title defense versus Alejandra Lara. She defeated Lara by third-round armbar, adding to her record as Bellator’s winningest female on the roster.

Former UFC title challenger turned Bellator title challenger, Letourneau, is a pioneer in WMMA. Boating several notable names on her resume, the Canadian fighter cemented her title shot with a victory over than-unbeaten contender Kristina Williams on the same night Macfarlane defeated Lara.

Who will you be rooting for?

      1. Hard to say whom I’m cheering for. I like both of them. Also hard to say who will win, but if I have to, I’ll pick Val for her experience.
