ICYMI: Taekwondo master Valerie Loureda scheduled for Bellator debut in February

An exciting addition to the Bellator flyweight division has been given a date and opponent for her professional debut.

Valerie is 2-1 as an amateur in MMA but brings a wealth of experiece in Taekwondo to the cage.

Loureda was originally slated to debut against Anastasia Bruce in Bellator, however, Bruce was unable to obtain a license due to a winless 0-12 amateur record.

She will now face Colby Fletcher (1-2) in a featured flyweight bout. Fletcher’s two losses come to Bellator veteran Alice Yauger and UFC’s Montana De La Rosa. She has not competed since June 2015.

  1. Looks like Valerie is being given an easy debut. But if her fighting skills match her hot good looks, she’ll be an exciting addition to Bellator.
