ICYMI: Randa Markos suspects Brazilian judges of “home cooking” in UFC Sao Paulo draw

It is not surprising after her split-decision loss in Mexico to Alexa Grasso that UFC strawweight fighter Randa Markos (8-6-1) went into her most recent fight at UFC Fight Night 137 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, against Marina Rodriguez thinking that she didn’t want to go to a decision in her opponent’s backyard.

When asked if she had again suffered from a reverse case of “home cooking”, Markos replied:

“Definitely,” Markos told MMAjunkie. “I’ve been through that before. I completely dominated the first round, and every time we were inside, I was throwing uppercuts to her face over and over and over. “She’s a tough chick, though– 11-0, in the UFC, and I get to welcome her.”
