This past Saturday at the Combate 24 event, Amanda Serrano picked up the first win of her professional MMA career after submitting Ere Ordonez in the first-round via a standing rear-naked-choke.
Serrano (1-0-1) is a multiple-time boxing world champion. The 30-year-old owns an impressive 35-1-1 record in professional boxing, including 26 knockout victories. She is considered by many to be one of the best pound-for-pound female boxers in the world. The Puerto Rican has won a number of world titles in multiple weight-classes including the WBO lightweight, featherweight, super bantamweight and bantamweight titles, as well as the WBC, IBF super featherweight belts.
