Heather Hardy returns to boxing on April 21, gets new opponent

On April 21, “The Heat” will be returning to her roots.

Undefeated boxing champion and Bellator MMA flyweight Heather Hardy will lace up her boxing gloves to do battle in the ring for the first time since signing with Bellator in May of 2017. Hardy holds a professional boxing record of 20-0 and an MMA record of 2-1 under the Bellator banner.

Hardy was originally scheduled to face Ana Julaton in a boxing match– the second part of their rivalry series, however, Julaton announced her retirement from competition last week. Replacing Julaton will be 12-2-1 Mexican boxer Iranda Paola Torres.

The bout takes place on April 21st at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The bout will take place on the undercard of Adrien Broner’s return to Brooklyn boxing. Unfortunatley, the Hardy fight will not be aired or streamed. Only the audience in attendance will be able to watch the bout live.
