Angela Hill will step in on short-notice to fight Loma Lookboonmee at the UFC Auckland event on February 22, as first reported by Brian Butler of Sucker Punch Ent.
Lookboonmee’s original opponent, Hannah Goldy, has been forced to withdraw due to injury.
Hill (11-7-0) makes a quick turnaround following a TKO win over Hannah Cifers just under two weeks ago at the UFC Raleigh event, a fight which was a short-notice bout in itself. The 34-year-old will have fought an incredible six times in the space of eleven months after this upcoming showdown.
Lookboonmee (4-1-0) makes her second appearance for the promotion after picking up a split decision win over Alexandra Albu in her debut this past October. The 24-year-old, who trains out of the Tiger Muay Thai team in Thailand, has previously fought for Invicta FC and Pancrase.
UFC on ESPN+ 26 takes place on February 22, 2020, from the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.
