Gabi Garcia: “I hope Veronika Futina doesn’t tap like Anna and continues to fight unlike Oxana. This team is full of trash people”

Gabi Garcia believes that the Gladiator Fight Team are “trash people” and hopes Veronika Futina will actually find some success when the pair face off later this year, unlike her teammates.

Garcia brands the Gladiator Fight Team as “trash people”.

Last week Futina slammed Gabi Garcia during an interview with Rize Up! Podcast. The Russian says that Garcia has the boxing skills of a child, vowing to “tear apart” the Brazilian if the two ever meet. Garcia responded telling Futina “Let’s go”.

Futina trains at the Gladiator Fight Team in Russia. Two of her teammates have previously fought Garcia but were unsuccessful in their attempts to become the new number-one women’s heavyweight fighter in the world. In April 2016, Anna Maliukova found herself victim of a second-round armbar submission. However it should be noted that to date she is the only woman to take Garcia past the first round. Meanwhile, Oxana Gagloeva was unsuccessful last year after being poked in the eye by Garcia and then refusing to continue due to a severely damaged cornea.

Garcia (4-0, 1 NC) absolutely ripped into Futina’s teammates in a post on social media and branded the lot of them “trash people”.

I need this fight! I hope she doesn’t tap like Anna and continues to fight [unlike Oxana]! This team are trash people” Garcia said.

  1. Noah, you put “severely damaged cornea“ in quotes as to why Oxana couldn’t continue. It appears that you don’t believe her claim. Didn’t you report earlier that she required eye surgery for it? Regardless, that’s something for Garcia to accuse anyone of being ” “trash people.”
