Full Fight: Watch Alejandra Lara stop Lena Ovchynnikova to earn #Bellator201 title bid

At only 23-years-old, Alejandra Lara has the potential to become Bellator’s youngest champion.

“Azul” made her Bellator debut at Bellator 190 in December. Lara danced her way to the cage, radiating confidence and charisma, to take on Ukraine’s Lena Ovchynnikova. After a solid first and second round, Lara secured the fight with a  rear-naked choke submission.

Before Lara attempts to dethrone Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, check out her Bellator debut versus below!

Bellator 201 takes place at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, Calif., on Friday. The main card will air live on the Paramount Network.

  1. Lena Ovchynnokva is something like 3-5 against fighters who have registered at least one MMA victory. So she is really a sub .500 fighter.
