Invicta FC have confirmed that a flyweight fight between former UFC bantamweight Milana Dudieva and Mara Romero Borella will will serve as the new main event for the July 15th Invicta FC 24 card.
Dudieva (11-5-0) feels as though she was undersized whilst competing in the UFC’s 135-pound bantamweight division, she believes that 125-pounds is her true weight class. The Russian will be hoping to make a statement in July, and eventually earn her way back into the UFC as part of their upcoming flyweight division.
Borella (10-4-0) is on a four-fight winning streak, two of which include armbar submission victories. The 31-year-old is from Italy and currently trains at the Mixed Martial PRO Team KBJJS. She will be fighting in the USA for the first time when she battles Dudieva in July.
Invicta FC 24 takes place on July 15th from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri, United States.
