This past Friday, Bellator MMA confirmed the signing of six new women to their 125-pound flyweight roster. One of the names which has been announced is 34-year-old Kristi Lopez also known as “Loba”.

Undefeated Kristi Lopez plans to make a statement in her Bellator MMA debut.

Lopez (2-0-0) will be a familiar name to UFC fans, she competed on The Ultimate Fighter 23, losing a decision to JJ Aldrich in the preliminary fights. The last time she fought as a professional was almost three years ago, to which she enjoyed great success. As a pro she has yet to taste defeat, picking up a split decision victory over Tyra Parker back in January 2014. She followed up by knocking out Katie Castro in July 2014. “Loba” feels as though she has improved as a fighter during her long layoff and looks forward to showing the Bellator MMA audience her evolved skill-set in the near future.
