This past Friday, Bellator MMA confirmed the signing of six new women to their 125-pound flyweight roster. One of the names which has been announced is 30-year-old Juliana Velasquez.
Velasquez (5-0-0) will be making her flyweight debut for the organization, having previously competed exclusively as a 135-pound bantamweight. She has yet to taste defeat in her MMA career and has finished three of her career victories by way of unanimous decision, whilst the other two were finished via TKO’s. The 30-year-old fights out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and trains out of Team Nogueira along with some of MMA’s biggest superstars including Anderson Silva, Antonio Nogueira and many more. She believes her high level of experience and elite training with world-class athletes will lead her to Bellator MMA flyweight gold.
