This past Friday, Bellator MMA confirmed the signing of six new women to their 125-pound flyweight roster. One of the names which has been announced is 22-year-old Alejandra Lara also known as “Azul”.
Lara (6-1-0) has been out of action for over fourteen months. She has won six of her last seven with her sole career loss coming to the undefeated Sabina Mazo. Aside from her close decision loss, she has looked absolutely incredible in all her performances and has shown to be a very well-rounded fighter, finishing her opponents via knockouts and various submissions. The 22-year-old fights out of Colombia and trains at Combat Training Club. She believes she has what it takes to continue finishing opponents in Bellator MMA and plans to become the first ever flyweight champion.
