Saturday night at Fight To Win Pro 44, an all-star submission grappling showdown took place between Bellator MMA star, Brittney Elkin, and former UFC and Invicta veteran, Peggy Morgan. It was Elkin who emerged victorious by way of unanimous decision.
Elkin (3-4 in MMA) is currently signed to Bellator as part of their featherweight division. In MMA she owns notable victories over Gabrielle Holloway and Kola Shippentower. She is a veteran of the Fight To Win organization, regularly competing in submission matches as part of various different weight-classes.
Morgan (4-4 in MMA) announced her retirement from the sport of MMA earlier this year. She is most known for competing on the UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter 18 back in 2013, as part of Team Rousey. The 37-year-old went on to compete for Invicta FC, picking up impressive victories over the likes of Andria Wawro and Jessy Miele, before retiring.
