Female welterweight competitors receive the opportunity to showcase themselves this weekend

This weekend MMA fans will get to witness the continued evolution of the women’s welterweight division in MMA thanks to a pair of scheduled bouts.

Tynanes is one of the biggest stars in the women’s welterweight division.

The women’s welterweight division is still very much a young and developing one when it comes to MMA. However, over the past 12 months organizations such as Alaska FC, RIZIN FF, DEEP JEWELS and FIGHT NIGHTS have begun signing welterweight women from the amateur scene as well as other combat sports in a bid to develop larger women’s weight-classes. The latest organization’s to join the movement are Trinity Sport Combat and Caged Aggression MMA.
