Tonight, (Friday, April 14) Brittney Elkin will take on Bridget Grace in a highly anticipated submission grappling bout at Fight To Win Pro 31. (Scroll down for details on how to watch).
Elkin has been on a tear as of late and has remained very active. In the last five months she has taken out Jordan Patrick, Ashley Lynn, Ketra Bartek and Teara Lewis. If Elkin is victorious tonight, she will earn herself a title shot with the organization, as well as putting herself on a five-fight winning streak.
The 30-year-old also competes as an MMA fighter as part of the 155lb lightweight division and is currently the number 4 ranked lightweight fighter in the world. She last competed in August when she fought against top welterweight contender Kola Shippentower in an openweight bout. Elkin won the fight via TKO in round one. She has made it known she plans a mixed martial arts return to MMA soon, and is open to fighting at any weight class 145-pounds and above.
Meanwhile, Grace will no doubt want to steal some of Elkin’s limelight as well as the potential title shot for herself, and she can certainly do that with a victory tonight.
Fight to Win Pro 31 takes place tonight (April 14) from the 2300 arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
