Early trends indicate Nunes VS Rousey on track to set new UFC PPV record, will break McGregor’s record

The return of former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 207 is only a matter of hours away. After over a year away from competition after a brutal knockout loss to Holly Holm, it seems she hasn’t lost any of her star power.

She’s been very silent in terms of promotion and has refused almost all media during the lead up to her fight with the current champion Amanda Nunes. However, the lack of promotion on her part doesn’t seem to be hurting the event as it’s currently trending to be the biggest UFC event of all time.

It was previously announced that Rousey has matched Conor McGregor for the highest purse paid to a fighter in UFC history at $3 million.

It’s not been reported that the former UFC bantamweight women’s champion is set to break McGregor’s record for PPV sales.
