The 32-year-old didn’t reveal too many details but told MMA Fighting that she has taken care of this girl for years, and promised to take her to the United States to live with her one day. It appears now is finally the time.

It’s a relationship between her and I, a promise I’ve made seven years ago,” Cyborg said. “We have a mother and daughter relationship. We were always together. When I moved to fight in the U.S. it was hard for both of us, and I promised that I would organize my life and bring her. And the time has come to fulfill my promise.”

  1. awwww this is cute. Cris is a awesome chick, very unique. Coming froma different culture, made a career in one of the most insane sports ever in which the exact aim is to brain damage your opponent and bend their bones…who made errors in judgment , was punished, and still pressed ahead with her career and made a name for herself despite al odds and vicious attacks from peers, dana white, and the public… good for you cyborg! i got to meet her at the fight valley movie wrap party in NJ and treasured that experience, knowing what an interesting soul she is. now she eeez eh mum para una little chickita. best of luck
