Cris Cyborg: “I have agreed to fight Amanda Nunes on July 7th in Las Vegas at UFC 226”

UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has announced that she has agreed to fight Amanda Nunes on July 7th at the UFC 226 event in Las Vegas.

Cyborg is willing to face Nunes in July.

Cyborg (19-1) was initially hesitant when it came to the rumored superfight against the UFC bantamweight champion. The Brazilian argued that she wants Nunes to first fight a woman who has competed at 145-pounds over the last year in order to prove she belongs in the division. It looks like the 32-year-old has now given in and is ready to fight Nunes at the UFC’s biggest event of the year in July.
